Water Storage

In 1990, Hall Irwin, along with Deere & Ault Consultants, developed and installed the first soil-bentonite cutoff wall around a gravel pit in North America. Soil-bentonite cutoff walls, or slurry walls, are non-structural barriers installed from soil surface to bedrock that prevent groundwater from moving into or out of a site. They are a cost-effective method for protecting both groundwater and water rights.

For over 30 years, Hall-Irwin has been lining the gravel pits of Colorado and beyond, with a 100% success rate for passing all state-required leak tests. We are the contractor of choice for protecting Colorado's water rights and natural water resources.
